Omer was born and raised in Rishon Lezion, Israel. He Has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and East Asian studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. As part of his pursuit of a Master's degree he spent a semester in Japan as an exchange student at Osaka University. He is joining the team after working the past three years in HUJI's computation department. Omer is hoping to bring a little taste of the Israel you don't see on the news to the Hillel.

Omer enjoys writing and gaming, among other varied interests and hobbies he is always happy to chat about. This is his first time in the United States and he is looking forward to learning more about and experiencing American culture and the American Jewish diaspora's way of life.
