Brown and RISD students of the Jewish culture/faith/nation/peoplehood are invited to join writer and educator, Allie Wollner (Brown ’10), for a creative writing workshop to explore the myriad manifestations of Judaism and how they intersect with other aspects of identity. |  |
Participants will generate (and/or polish) pieces focusing on Jewish identity and intersectionality and will also have the opportunity to workshop pieces with Allie, one-on-one (during the day on Thurs/Fri). The sessions will culminate in a special Brown RISD Hillel "Spoken Sabbath" JMI (Jews of Mixed Identity) Shabbat dinner on Friday, December 4th at which participants will have an opportunity share their work.
