Candidate Profile

• You are a current undergraduate at Brown or RISD (graduating after May 2022)
• You have a focused idea of how you’d like to spend your summer in Israel. CHAI funds highly independent projects, and while BRH staff will be happy to help you hone your idea, we will not be able to connect students with specific internships/programs/etc. Applicants are encouraged to reach out to programs/companies/schools/non-profits independently.
• You’re passionate about your proposal and eager to dive into the work
• You’ve been to Israel before, or you feel comfortable living a new country by yourself
• You’re excited about engaging with the local culture and building connections and community
