CHAI will fund projects that run a minimum of 3 weeks and a maximum of 10 weeks
Successful applicants will be granted up to $4000 to cover airfare and living expenses. Participants are responsible for finding their own flights and housing, with the support of Brown RISD Hillel staff.
Funding is competitive, and will be awarded on a need-blind basis. Brown RISD Hillel will make every effort to fully fund selected applicants, but you are encouraged to apply for other scholarships as well (from Brown and other sources).
Applications will be reviewed by the Brown RISD Hillel staff, and will be selected based on the project’s specificity, creativity, and potential for a relevant impact on Brown and RISD’s campuses through post-trip programming and initiatives.
Applicants must disclose other sources of funding during the application process.
