Rabbi Yair Lichtman brings a strong combination of Torah scholarship, educational expertise, and community leadership experience. He received rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University, alongside master’s degrees in Biblical Studies and Jewish Education and a certificate in mental health counseling. He has been recognized with honors for excellence in Bible, Talmud, and mathematics. He has served in a range of educational and rabbinic roles, including teaching Tanach and Jewish philosophy at Ida Crown Jewish Academy and serving as Rabbinic Associate at Kehilat Chovevei Tzion, where he has led classes, delivered sermons, and provided pastoral support. His work also spans youth engagement, campus programming, and community-wide learning initiatives across multiple cities.
